Since 2000 the School has undertaken significant measures to promote entrepreneurship and aid for creating companies. A final-year professional option is devoted to training and individually supporting students. In continuing education, a Specialized Master’s in company creation is open to graduates for training and tutoring.
Since 2000, 83 companies created at the end of the courses of different departments in the school have been sponsored.
Centrale Lille is an active member of the incubator platform GENI (www.geni-incubation.fr) (regional incubation for Grandes Ecoles), through its participation in the TONIC incubator in Lille in partnership with SKEMA and Arts et Métiers – Paritech centre de Lille.
Entrepreneurship at the school is active among the students who created the student association Startn’up in 2010, with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship. Every year, the association organizes in Lille two start-up weekends and an awareness campaign over a whole week.
